Geordie Shore star, Vicky Pattison was crowned the Queen of the Jungle after winning I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in December 2015, but today she sets off on a trek through the mountains.
Alongside Chloe Madeley, daughter of TV couple Richard and Judy, Vicky is taking part in the Fabulous Challenge, in association with Fabulous Magazine. This involves a 4 day expedition in the volcanic Iceland mountains.
Vicky, Chloe and their teams of trekkers will be hiking across the Landmannalauger route in the Icelandic mountains. Furthermore, this route is one of the most active volcanic areas in the country. The two stars and their teams will hike for 4 days from the 7th – 11th August. During these 4 days, they will walk up to 11 hours per day and compete against each other in challenges before setting up camp for the night. In total, the trekkers will complete 58 kilometers.
However this trek is not just for fun, the trekkers will be raising money for breast cancer charity, Coppafeel. Coppafeel aim to spread and raise awareness of breast cancer and its signs and symptoms to stamp out late diagnosis. They do this by encouraging women to regularly check their bodies and have the confidence to go to a doctor if they feel that something isn’t right.
